Data and Statistics are integral to gaining a better understanding of voter demographics. Voter Registration Statistics and Precinct and District maps are important tools for sorting information. The resources below give helpful information that assists with transparency in the democratic process.

Precinct and District Maps

The Kern County Interactive Mapping system is useful to educators, journalists, candidates and government agencies as well as the private sector. Access the Kern County Interactive Mapping system.

To purchase a map and/or digital data, complete the Map or Digital Data Order Form and return it to:

A check or money order made payable to Kern County Elections Office must accompany the form in order for the request to be processed.

Purchasing Voter Information

The Voter File has data that aids educators, journalists, politicians and government agencies among others. The information can be of assistance to candidates and ballot measure committees for elections.

To purchase voter information you will need the following:

Completed application to purchase or view voter registration.
Copy of your driver’s license.

A CD of the voter file costs $45.50. If you are interested in a printed index, call the Kern County Elections office at (661) 868-3590 for pricing.

Please note that you are NOT allowed to sell or give out the voter file information if you purchase it. Learn about the Secretary of State guidelines for purchasing voter information.

Report any misuse of personal information by calling the Secretary of State’s Voter Protection and Assistance Hotline at 1 (800) 345-VOTE (8683).

For Election Data Reports, contact the Kern County Elections Office (661) 868-3590. Some election data reports are free. Some reports need to be authorized and generated before they can be made available.
