What is Remote Accessible Vote by Mail?

Remote Accessible Vote by Mail (RAVBM) is an accessible ballot delivery option that allows voters with disabilities the ability to access their ballot in an accessible format using any computer with internet access. Voters can use their assistive devices to read and mark their ballot independently in the privacy of their own home. The voter will be required to print and return their ballot to the Kern County Elections Division.

The RAVBM system is available to voters starting 29 days before the election and ending 7 days before the election. After the deadline, you may vote on an accessible device at your assigned polling site or at the Elections Division located at 1115 Truxtun Ave, Bakersfield CA, 93301.
